WordPress is a content management system (CMS) that has been widely used for many years, and there is no evidence to suggest that it is dying or is already dead. In fact, WordPress continues to be a popular and successful platform, with a strong and active developer community and a growing user base.

As of December 2021, WordPress powers more than 60 million websites around the world, making it the most widely used CMS in the world.

According to data from W3Techs, WordPress is used by 37.6% of all websites that use a CMS, followed by Joomla (3.3%), and Shopify (2.7%). This shows that WordPress is a dominant player in the CMS market and is not in danger of losing its position anytime soon.

WordPress is used by a wide range of individuals, organizations, and businesses, including some of the world’s most well-known brands. Some examples of big brands that use WordPress include The New Yorker, Sony Music, TechCrunch, Microsoft News Center, Bata, TED, and Variety.

Other notable users of WordPress include the official websites of the White House, the United Nations, and the Rolling Stones, as well as smaller businesses and individual bloggers.

These statistics indicate that WordPress is a thriving and successful platform that is not in danger of dying anytime soon.
